N6HKH: This diagram posted as an attachment will be a topic during tonight's Round Table: d-star-roundtable.boards.net/thread/314/brandmeister-xlxd-interlinking

ka2y: Been using XLX313A on DMR from my pi-star hotspot. The status command in K6KD's instructions has no effect. I have a channel programmed in my MD-390 for private call to 65000 with TG6 in RXgroup list but I receive nothing back in the log from XLX313. ??

K6KD: KA2Y - best to get info specific for Pi Star - recommend Todd N6XDX instructions on Facebook Truckers, Travelers, RV Net. Also Pi Stars Users Facebook group.

K7VE - John: It seems maybe my announcements didn't make it through?

K7VE - John: The first is that the Microhams Digital Conference in Redmond, WA is March 24th. The speakers are lining up, including Dr. Joe Taylor (K1JT) will be speaking, as well as John Langner (WB2OSZ) author of the Direwolf soundcard modem.

K7VE - John: If you will be in the Seattle area, you may want to get tickets (it usually sells out) -- watch the site www.microhams.com/mhdc/

K7VE - John: The other item is for those who use mobile hotspots, Google Project Fi fi.google.com has modified their data plan paying a pro-rated $10/GB and will only charge for the first 6 GB (slow down doesn't kick in until 15GB) -- you do need a basic phone

nf8i: Replying to KC8YQL: GoogleFi has contracts to use Sprint, T-Mobile, and US Cellular infrastructure.

w4wwm: Mike, just to note, the QuadNet team will help those with repeater on BM DMR Master Server 3101 with the configuration of the Interlink. Just make sure one respond to admins@openquad.net One of use will pick up and work the request.

K7VE - John: plan from them for $20/mo. but they will provide up to 9 data SIMs that you can put into 4G LTE capable tablets, routers, etc. I use it with an Android tablet and a ThumbDV with BlueDV for D-STAR/DMR and also run a MiFi gl-inet.com/mifi/

K7VE - John: I get 20-50 MB through T-Mobile (predominate where I am) 4G LTE.

w4wwm: Mike, the interlink is working as we chat. As far as I know Adrian - VK4TUX is the first to get the interlink working.

K7VE - John: A tablet that works with the data (Only) SIM --

K7VE - John: On Transcoding. A couple of ThumbDVs or a XCode-3006 (not in production quite yet, stay tuned -- http://nwdigitalradio.com) in a XLX reflector can do the transcoding of the AMBE.

K7VE - John: I can't go into ThumbDV or XCode-3006 on air, as I am associated with NW Digital Radio.

K7VE - John: Project Fi compatible phone at a good price -- www.ebay.com/itm/322847525217

w4wwm: Adrian - VK4TUX has a YouTube posted on the Interlink audio

k7ve: Need to QRT -- 73. See www.kickstarter.com/projects/985312845/6-channel-usb-ambe-transcoder-for-digital-voice-sy (it didn't get full funding, but an alternate build will be announced probably tomorrow).

N6HKH: Thanks, John. Appreciate your posts.
